This training is designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, abilities, and well-being of attendees by providing instruction on federal laws, investigative tools, and trial testimony.

This training will cover several topics including*:

• Federal Firearms Offenses (PSN/ICE)

• Comprehensive Gun Crime Investigations, including Firearms Tracing & Forensics 

•USAO-MDAL & Federal Case Law Update

• FBI Cellular Analysis Survey Team (CAST) Overview

• Direct Testimony and Cross Examination Tips for Law Enforcement Officers

• Sex Trafficking Prosecution Case Study

*Topics subject to change based on instructor availability

Trainers will include professionals from the U.S. Attorney's Office-MDAL, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the FBI.

Who Should Attend?

State, local, university, federal and tribal SWORN law enforcement officers or investigators.
