Rep. Barry Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, has shared several updates through his social media account. Moore replaced Martha Roy in 2021 and has been active in legislative matters and public communication.

On December 11, 2024, Moore expressed his honor at presiding over the House floor as Speaker Pro Tempore. He stated, "It was an honor to preside over the House floor today as Speaker Pro Tempore."

Later that day, he commented on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for that year, describing it as a significant development for both Alabamians and servicemembers across the nation. Moore noted on December 11, 2024: "This year’s #NDAA is a major shift toward strength and common sense, a win for Alabamians and servicemembers nationwide." He emphasized support for legislation enhancing national security and protecting youth.

The following day, December 12, 2024, Moore highlighted President Donald Trump's recognition by TIME magazine as Person of the Year. He praised Trump’s resilience against various challenges during his presidency: "President Trump has been named @TIME’s Person of the Year...Not just TIME’s Person of the Year, but the people’s Man of the Century."
