Rep. Barry Moore addresses legal issues and national remembrance in recent tweets

Rep. Barry Moore, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama's 2nd district, recently shared several statements via social media addressing various topics from legal matters to national remembrance and personal faith.

On December 7, 2024, Rep. Moore commented on a legal case involving Daniel Penny, stating that "The wrongful manslaughter charge against American hero Daniel Penny has been DISMISSED!" He criticized Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for allegedly downgrading 60% of felony cases over the past year, expressing concern about the potential risks to New Yorkers.

Later that day, Moore marked National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day by honoring those who lost their lives during the attack in 1941. He stated: "Today, on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we honor the 2,403 Americans who gave their lives 83 years ago defending our nation." He emphasized the importance of remembering their sacrifice and extended blessings to all who serve to protect the country.

On December 8, 2024, Rep. Moore shared a religious message quoting Exodus 15:2: “The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him." This tweet reflects his personal faith and spiritual beliefs.
