On April 17, 2025, Moore articulated his stance on the alleged misuse of federal structures with his statement: "It’s a great day to end the weaponization of the federal government against American citizens."

The following day, April 18, 2025, he extended Easter greetings, reflecting on the religious significance of Good Friday by quoting Isaiah 53:5: "It is finished. From the Moore family to yours, we wish you a blessed Good Friday! 'But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.'"

On April 19, 2025, Moore commented on the transparency of the Trump administration linked to new information about the origins of COVID-19. Barry Moore is an alumnus of Auburn University, having graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Born in 1966 in Coffee County, Alabama, he now resides in Enterprise. Moore began his political journey in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018 before joining the U.S. Congress in 2021, succeeding Martha Roy.
