Were 10th-grade Butler County School District students in 2023-24 school year ready for college?

PSAT scores in Butler County School District showed there were the same number of 10th-grade students ready for college in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Alabama Department of Education.

Amongst all 10th-grade students in Butler County School District, 0% were considered ready to graduate.

Of the three grades assessed for college and career readiness, 12th-grade students stood out with the best performance in the district, with 73.9% reaching the readiness benchmark.

Throughout the district, Greenville High School had the best performance, with an average college readiness of 47.5%.

There were a total of 210 students enrolled in Butler County School District 10th-grade.

Alabama's educational system was rated as one of the worst in the U.S., according to a 2023 study from Scholaroo. The state was ranked 46th based on factors such as school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.
