Conecuh County Schools: Homecoming Win for the Jags

HHS Jags were challenged by The Mobile Christian Leopards to a friendly game of football at The Brooks Memorial Stadium.

And they went along to halftime, sworn to triumph in the game for the honour of homecoming and the glory of the winning; the scoreboard read 0-14 with the Jags being the underdog.

The Jags took the challenge before the massive crowd; it was beautiful to see with strategy, precision, blocking, and passing at its pretty filigree.

It was one touchdown for the Jags, extra point no good, and it made us all feel sentiments of the past.

Then the breath of the sweetest sentiments rose to a tie....again, another overtime.

We had Jacob, Jermonte, Zander, BJ, Jalen, Timothy, the offensive line, defensive line, and the men who stood as coaches - Coach Crum, Coach Pinkney, Coach Wilcher and squad; they wore red for unity.

We took the game!

A friendly game of football, an area rival, one point. That's all it took.

Homecoming WIN FOR the JAGS! 29-28

Congratulations!!
