LBW Community College will host “Camp LBW” this summer for rising 4th-6th graders.
“We will explore robotics, art, music, creative writing, Spanish, cooking, nature experiences, building construction, virtual reality and a whole lot more,” said Katie King, Director of Student Activities & Community Engagement.
“Camp for our younger students is not a new concept for LBW, and we’re hoping to bring back the wonderful tradition of “kids going to college” on their summer break. We will have our incredible faculty and staff leading sessions each day with the goal of inspiring our campers with STEAM activities and a whole lot of fun!”
Camp LBW will be held on the Andalusia campus, July 25-29, 2022. Registration opens June 1, and spots are limited to the first 50 campers. A registration fee of $50 includes a camp t-shirt and daily snack. To register, please visit https://www.lbwcc.edu/about/community-engagement/camp-lbw
