Rep. Barry Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, has shared his views on various topics through a series of tweets. Moore, who replaced Martha Roy in 2021 and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018, has been vocal about issues ranging from sports to energy policy.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Barry Moore expressed his stance on gender participation in sports by stating "Men should not be in women’s sports." He thanked former President Trump for his efforts in protecting women's rights across the nation.

In another tweet posted shortly after, Moore advocated for increased domestic energy production with the phrase "From the fields of Texas to the beautiful Gulf of America, DRILL BABY DRILL!" This reflects his support for utilizing American natural resources.

Later that day, Moore addressed government efficiency by calling for control over waste and fraud. He credited Elon Musk's cryptocurrency DOGE as a tool achieving this goal daily: "It’s past time we get government waste, fraud, and abuse under control."
