Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district, shared a series of tweets expressing support for former President Donald Trump and his policies. Moore, who has been in Congress since 2021 after replacing Martha Roy, also served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018.
On March 5, 2025, Rep. Barry Moore tweeted "Donald Trump is OUR President. " This statement reflects his endorsement of Trump's leadership.
In another tweet on the same day, Moore praised Trump's efforts on border security: "President Trump said he’d secure our southern border. We’re only a few months in and he has already kept his promise!" The congressman highlighted what he perceives as Trump's success in fulfilling campaign promises related to immigration control.
Moore further quoted Trump with the statement: “Our country will be woke no longer!” - President Trump This quote suggests a stance against certain progressive ideologies that have been described as "woke."
