Washington, D.C. — On April 26, 2023, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) voted in support of H.Res. 311, a resolution encouraging the strengthening of President Trump's Abraham Accords. This resolution honors the 75th anniversary of U.S.-Israel relations and would urge other nations to normalize relations with Israel and ensure that existing agreements produce security and economic benefits for the citizens of those countries and all people in the region. The resolution is sponsored by Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX), Congressman Brad Schneider (D-IL), and Congresswoman Kathy Manning (D-NC).
"Over the last 75 years, the United States has built a rock-solid alliance with Israel based on our shared democratic values and resolve to end antisemitism,” said Moore. “President Trump's Abraham Accords were an extraordinary step toward peace in the region, and I am grateful to see bipartisan support for expanding them. Our nation must continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Israel for years to come."
