Gardening time!  Thanks to Beth Fair from the Butler County Extension Agency for sharing with our students information about the parts of a plant and how to pot and care for a plant.  Students chose from tomato, pepper and herb plants, chose a container, planted and watered and took their plants home to care for them and watch them grow!  Students also practiced their math skills and enjoyed eating the M&M's and M&M cookies from their math project!    

Using the Biblical example of God creating Adam and Eve, we discussed positive self-esteem.  We should thank God for the amazing and wonderful way that He made each of us in His image!  We concluded with positive affirmations as everyone took turns complimenting each student on something that they liked or admired about them.  You are important!
