Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce Presents Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt

The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce has received official North Pole notice that Carney, the magical scout elf, is returning to Atmore again this year. Carney will visit local Chamber Member Businesses from NOVEMBER 26th until DECEMBER 16th. During this time, community members are invited to #DiscoverAtmore and get #AllAboardAtmore to find where our little scout elf has landed each night upon his return for a fun-filled, holiday scavenger hunt.

At each location Carney visits, he is collecting some of his favorite things. Unfortunately for Carney—but luckily for you—he can’t take it all back to the North Pole with him because it is too heavy to carry, so he will be awarding a stocking to one lucky winner. Maybe it could be you and your family! If you or your family would like to participate in this fun hunt for Carney, stay tuned to this page and the Chamber Facebook page for more details.

To participate, you'll need to pick up your passport. Passports will be available for pick up on November 22nd at the Chamber office. Each passport is filled with clues as to where Carney might be. If you think you know what businesses Carney is at by the clues, head over to those businesses and see if you can't find him hiding (please let the businesses' employees know you're elf hunting, and remember to be respectful of their products as Carney is watching and reporting back to Santa). Once you spot him, an employee of the business will stamp your passport on the respective clue—but you have to know what clue is theirs! Once you've received twenty or more stamps in your passport, return it to the Chamber office—but don't forget to provide your name, phone number, and email so we can contact you if you win. All qualifying passports will be entered into a drawing to win the stocking filled with all of Carney's favorite things from the businesses he visited.

The winner of the contest will be drawn Friday, December 17th, and announced on Facebook.
