We would like to spotlight one of our outstanding CTE students, Abbie Tomlinson. Abbie is a senior at Excel High School and Monroe County Career Tech. Last school year, Abbie had a very successful year in the Jobs for Alabama’s Graduates (JAG) program, and her biggest accomplishment was being selected as the 2022-2023 Alabama State President for the National Career Association. As part of Abbie’s presidential duties, she represents the State Dept. of Education’s CTE Division at various events. Most recently, Abbie helped host the the Joint Leadership Development Conferences in Mobile and Huntsville. Thank you Abbie for your dedication and hard work representing Monroe County!!
