Anyone in the market for some laying hens? We will have plenty for purchase at our 4-H Chick Chain Show and Sale at the Clarke/Washington Fair on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Please come out and support our 4-H Youth and purchase their hens! They have worked really hard to raise and care for these hens since they received them as baby chicks in May. The 4-H Chick Chain Show will begin at 11:00 A.M where the youth will put their showmanship skills to work and exhibit their hens. The Auction will immediately follow the show around 1:00 P.M. The hens have just started laying. Breeds for Sale include Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Reds and Black Australorp. You will not be disappointed! You will definitely be able to take home some fine egg layers and put food on your family table knowing that it came from a hard working 4-H’er! We look forward to seeing you at the show!
