Attention Parents and Guardians:
Students attending the Blackbelt STEM Academy will be visiting Southern Power’s Plant Harris on Friday, June 17, 2022.
Southern Power has the mission of providing clean, safe, reliable, and affordable energy to businesses, homes, and customers nationwide. Our students will join others from Bullock and Montgomery for a private touring of one of Southern Power’s most distinguished plants in our region--Plant Harris.
Is it too late to sign up for the program? Absolutely Not! Please bring your rising 6th-11th grade students to Hillcrest High School starting June 13, 2022. We are offering breakfast, lunch, transportation, and a host of EXCITING STEM topics in the classroom! We look forward to seeing you at 8:00am on Monday, June 13th.
