Census Bureau: More women than men in Clarke County in 2019

Of the 24,128 people living in Clarke County in 2019, 52.7 percent (12,725) were women and 47.3 percent (11,403) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Alabama Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 7,452-to-6,710. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,632 females and 2,047 males.
