Census Bureau: More women than men in Dale County in 2019

Of the 49,277 people living in Dale County in 2019, 50.7 percent (24,976) were women and 49.3 percent (24,301) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Alabama Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 14,934-to-14,877. In the 65 and over age range, there were 4,491 females and 3,590 males.
