Andalusia issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Andalusia marked a quiet, socially distanced Veterans Day with the placement of wreaths at the Covington Veterans Memorial followed by Taps. But for the pandemic, the holiday would have been marked with a parade and a full ceremony at the monument, followed by a reception for veterans.
We are thankful for the service of each veteran, and hope that all remain healthy.
