On Saturday, March 29, former Opp High School standout GraceAnne Spears’ current college team, the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the USC Beaufort Sand Sharks.

The game took place at Lady Canes Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Sand Sharks this season.

The Hurricanes’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 2 p.m. at Lady Tiger Softball Field against Savannah State Lady Tigers.
