Moore, who succeeded Martha Roy and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018, often references national issues and his support for former President Donald Trump.
On July 11, 2025, Moore emphasized his stance on national security and government oversight with a call to action: “Secure the border. End the weaponization of the federal government. Trust President Trump. “

Barry Moore was born in Coffee County, Alabama in 1966 and resides in Enterprise. He graduated from Auburn University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
