Rep. Barry Moore urges ending filibuster and praises economic recovery under Biden

Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account regarding the Biden administration and legislative priorities.

On December 4, 2025, Moore wrote, “After a disastrous four years under the Biden Administration, @POTUS is rebuilding our economy. Jobless claims just hit their lowest level since Sept. 2022. America is getting back to work because real leadership is back in the Oval Office.” On the same day, he also called for significant changes in Senate procedure by posting, “Daily reminder that Republicans need to NUKE the filibuster and help @POTUS save America!”

The following day, December 5, Moore reiterated this message with another post: “Daily reminder that Republicans need to NUKE the filibuster and help @POTUS save America!”

Moore has served as Alabama’s representative in Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021 and previously was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University (Fact sources: see Fact 1-4 above).
