Rep. Barry Moore, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, posted a series of statements on his social media account between September 20 and September 21, 2025, highlighting political achievements and sharing personal reflections.
On September 20, Moore wrote: “The border is secure. Crime is down. Inflation is down. Optimism is up and families are thriving. That’s the Trump agenda – and Alabamians are seeing the benefits of it! “
The following day, he quoted scripture in another post: “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” – John 14:21 (September 21).
Later that same day, Moore honored Charlie Kirk with a message emphasizing faith over politics: “Charlie Kirk never wavered in his Christianity, his love for America or his desire to foster respectful debate. As we honor him today, may we all remember that politics is temporary but faith in Christ is eternal.” (September 21).
Moore’s public service career includes previous tenure in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018 before joining Congress in 2021. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Alabama, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
