Rep. Barry Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, recently took to social media to express his views on various issues. Moore, who succeeded Martha Roy in 2021, has been vocal on both international and domestic matters in his recent posts.
On April 26, Moore addressed the issue of terrorism on an international scale, commenting on an attack in Kashmir. He stated, “Horrified to hear about the terrorist attack in Kashmir. Heather and I are praying for the victims, their families, and all those affected. America stands with India against the evil of terrorism.” Moore’s statement extends condolences to those affected and reinforces U.S. solidarity with India.
The following day, April 27, Moore shared an inspirational message with his followers, highlighting his faith by quoting a scripture from the Bible. He wrote, “I lift up my eyes to the hills — where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” – Psalm 121:1-2 This reflects his reliance on spiritual guidance.
On April 28, Rep. Moore expressed his views on domestic politics, contrasting the approach to law enforcement between two U.S. administrations. He claimed, “When Biden was President, American families feared for their safety. Under President Trump, only those who break our laws have to be afraid. America is back! “ This statement underlines his support for former President Trump and suggests a decrease in safety concerns during Trump’s tenure.
Rep. Barry Moore, age 56, was born in Coffee County, Alabama, and currently resides in Enterprise. Having graduated from Auburn University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018 before his current role in Congress.
