On July 4, 2025, Moore reflected on the historical significance of Independence Day. He stated that “on July 4, 1776, brave patriots stood up to tyranny and declared that freedom would be our foundation.” He emphasized the importance of honoring their courage and sacrifice, noting that America remains “a shining city on a hill — a nation worth” celebrating. The following day, July 5, Moore addressed the floods affecting Central Texas. He urged his followers to “join Heather and I in praying for the first responders, children, and parents” dealing with the devastation. Barry Moore has been serving in Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021. Before his current role, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966, Moore is an Auburn University alumnus and resides in Enterprise.
