Rep. Barry Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various topics. Moore has been in Congress since 2021, succeeding Martha Roy. He was born in Coffee County, Alabama, and resides in Enterprise.
On May 11, 2025, Rep. Moore posted a biblical verse from Isaiah 26:12 on his social media account. The tweet read: “Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.”
Later that day, he extended Mother’s Day wishes to mothers within Alabama’s First Congressional District and expressed personal greetings to his wife Heather and mother Elaine. The message stated: “Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms across Alabama’s First Congressional District, especially to my wife, Heather and my own mother, Elaine!”
On May 12, 2025, Rep. Moore acknowledged the contributions of police officers during National Police Week. His post honored their service with the words: “Our police officers sacrifice each and every day to keep our communities safe. We honor their sacrifice and service this week and every week.”
Rep. Barry Moore holds a degree from Auburn University and has previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018.
