Rep. Barry Moore, who represents Alabama’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on social media reflecting on national events and political concerns.
On September 10, 2025, Moore expressed condolences over the death of a prominent conservative activist: “Heather and I are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Charlie Kirk. Charlie’s unwavering voice for the values that should unite us – faith, family, and freedom, inspired countless Americans to stand strong in the fight for our nation’s future. Please join us in lifting up”.
The following day, marking the anniversary of September 11th, Moore commemorated the tragedy and its aftermath: “On September 11, 2001, our nation was shaken but not broken. We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken, the bravery of first responders who ran toward danger, and the service members who fought to defend our freedom in the years that followed. May we never forget the”.
On September 12, Moore voiced support for fellow congressman Chip Roy regarding an unspecified issue involving national interests: “I stand with @chiproytx — it’s time to expose the money, power, and influence behind this assault on our nation.”
Moore has represented Alabama’s 2nd District since 2021 after replacing Martha Roy. He previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018 and was born in Coffee County in 1966. He is a graduate of Auburn University (1992) and currently resides in Enterprise.
