Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, recently posted several messages on his social media account reflecting on faith, national service, and current political developments.

On August 3, 2025, Moore shared a Bible verse from Colossians: “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” – Colossians 3:1-2.

The following day, August 4, he marked the anniversary of the United States Coast Guard with a message of gratitude: “Happy 235th Birthday to the @USCG! From protecting our shores to saving lives at sea, these brave men and women are Semper Paratus – Always Ready. Alabama and our nation are grateful for your service and sacrifice.”

On August 6, Moore commented on recent federal policy and its effects under President Trump: “President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill is providing record levels of investment in our nation, the border is secure, and the economy is starting to work for the American people again. America’s Golden Age is here! “

Moore has served in Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021 after previously holding office in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
