Rep. Barry Moore, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, recently shared several updates highlighting President Trump’s early accomplishments in office and recent developments in Washington. Moore, who succeeded Martha Roy in 2021 after serving in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018, uses his platform to communicate key political and economic achievements.
In a post on April 29, 2025, Moore announced his upcoming appearance on the show News & Views with @TheJoeyClark. Scheduled for 2 PM CT the same day, listeners were encouraged to tune in to hear discussions about President Trump’s first 100 days in office alongside other updates from Washington.
Later that day, Moore tweeted about economic milestones achieved under President Trump’s tenure. According to an April 29, 2025 post, the President has successfully created 345,000 jobs since assuming office in January. Furthermore, Moore highlighted significant economic growth stemming from $7 trillion in private investments into the U.S. economy. Also noted was a decrease in the consumer price index by 0.1 percent, reversing consistent monthly increases seen since July 2022.
In another tweet posted on the same April 29, 2025 date, Moore focused on immigration-related enforcement actions. He reported mass deportation raids leading to a 655% rise in arrests of terrorists within the U.S., and a substantial reduction in illegal border crossings, down 95% compared to the previous year. Additionally, over 150,000 illegal aliens have been detained, including more than 600 members of the criminal group Tren de Aragua.
Barry Moore, now 56, was born in Coffee County, Alabama, and resides in Enterprise. He is an alumnus of Auburn University, where he graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
