Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, recently shared a series of posts on social media highlighting legislative achievements and personal reflections.

On August 29, 2025, Moore commented on federal spending reductions, stating: “This is exactly what the American people voted for! $4.9 billion of wasteful spending has been rescinded thanks to President Trump!”

The following day, Moore referenced new legislation and its effects in his state: “Alabamians are already seeing the benefits of President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill. @HouseGOP isn’t stopping there, in three days we return to Washington to continue delivering on our America First agenda! “

On August 31, he shared a Bible verse from Romans: ‘”For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” – Romans 1:17’

Moore has represented Alabama’s 2nd District in Congress since succeeding Martha Roy in 2021 and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County, Alabama in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
