Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, recently addressed several topics on his social media platform, including support for small businesses, religious reflection, and legislative efforts related to automobile safety.

On November 30, 2025, Moore expressed his commitment to economic policies favoring small businesses by stating: “President Trump and House Republicans recognize that when small businesses thrive, our communities are better. On this Small Business Saturday, I’m proud to always fight for policies that grow our economy and get government off the backs of business owners.”

Later the same day, Moore shared a biblical verse as a message of gratitude: “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” – 1 Chronicles 16:34 (posted November 30).

On December 1, Moore turned attention to automotive safety issues with a post referencing vehicle recalls from over a decade ago: “Between 2009 and 2012, millions of cars were recalled. These defective automobiles led to injuries and deaths with no liability from the federal government for their part. My Auto Bailout Accident Victims Recovery Act will provide justice for these victims.”

Moore has served in Congress since replacing Martha Roy in Alabama’s 2nd district in 2021 and previously held office in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise at age 56, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
