Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district, has recently posted several statements on social media regarding economic development and legislative strategy.

On December 5, 2025, Moore shared news about an investment in his home state: “Incredible news that Wellborn Cabinet is investing $30 MILLION & creating 400 new jobs right here in Alabama! This is proof that @POTUS’ tariffs work and are bringing manufacturing jobs back to the United States.”

The following day, December 6, 2025, Moore commented on Senate procedures: “Daily reminder that Republicans need to NUKE the filibuster and help @POTUS save America!” He reiterated this position with identical wording in another post on December 7, 2025: “Daily reminder that Republicans need to NUKE the filibuster and help @POTUS save America!”

Barry Moore has represented Alabama’s 2nd District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County, Alabama in 1966, Moore currently resides in Enterprise and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
