Rep. Barry Moore, who represents Alabama’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed several legislative and political issues through a series of posts on his official X account.

On April 16, 2026, Moore highlighted the significance of a caucus he supports by stating, “This is exactly why the Sharia-Free America Caucus is so important. @RepKeithSelf is right, if we don’t speak out about this growing threat, there won’t be an America left to step up for!”

The following day, April 17, 2026, Moore discussed legislative accountability measures: “Proud to cosponsor H.Res.1164 with @RepBice and @RepBrecheen. If a Member uses taxpayer dollars to settle a lawsuit, they must appear on the House floor within 30 days to disclose the details or face loss of committee roles and privileges. Accountability. Transparency. No”

On April 18, 2026, Moore referenced pending legislation in another post: “It’s now been over two months since the SAVE America Act passed the House. It’s time to get it to the President’s desk to save our Republic!”

Barry Moore has served as U.S. Representative for Alabama’s 2nd District since 2021 after replacing Martha Roy and previously held office in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. He was born in Coffee County in 1966 and resides in Enterprise. Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
