Rep. Barry Moore, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, used his social media account this week to highlight recent federal tax policy changes that he says benefit working families.
On April 13, Moore posted: “More of your money back in your pockets!
@POTUS and @HouseGOP made tax day a little bit easier for American families.”
Two days later, as Tax Day approached, Moore wrote: “Tax day is tomorrow which means Alabamians will see the many wins @HouseGOP secured in the Working Families Tax Cuts!
Remember – no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on social security!” This message was posted on April 15.
Later that same day, Moore reiterated his support for the legislation with another post: “Alabamians deserve to keep more of their money. That’s why I was proud to support @POTUS’ Working Families Tax Cuts!”
Moore has represented Alabama’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in 1992.
