Rep. Barry Moore, representing Alabama’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, has recently shared his views on social media. Moore’s tweets reflect a mix of religious expression and political commentary.

On June 8, 2025, Rep. Barry Moore posted a tweet quoting scripture from 1 John 4:13-15: “We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.”

The following day, June 9, 2025, Moore addressed what he described as misleading media coverage with a tweet criticizing reports on recent events in California: “The fake news is lying again. This is not ‘just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn’ – it is a violent riot spurred by the Left’s obsession with protecting illegals.” He concluded by asserting that “California needs law and order.”

Later on June 9, Moore expressed support for former President Trump’s immigration policies through another tweet: “Getting illegals out of our country and protecting Americans should be our highest priority. President Trump’s Administration continues to show their commitment to removing those who shouldn’t be here!”

Barry Moore was born in Coffee County, Alabama in 1966 and currently resides in Enterprise. He graduated from Auburn University with a BS degree in 1992.
