Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing national politics and immigration policy.

On July 30, 2025, Moore expressed support for former President Donald Trump, stating: “President Trump continues to prove he was the right man for the job. America’s Golden Age has just begun! “

The following day, July 31, Moore criticized the previous administration’s handling of allegations related to Russian interference in U.S. elections. He wrote: “The simple fact is the American people were betrayed by the Obama Administration. It’s past time that we bring accountability for those who participated in the absurd narrative that drove the Russian collusion campaign.”

Later on July 31, Moore commented on current immigration legislation efforts: “The ‘DIGNITY Act’ is nothing more than a surrender to mass amnesty. Read my latest in @1819News where I discuss what we should be doing instead of granting amnesty to those who have broken our laws by coming here illegally.”

Moore has served as a member of Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021 and previously represented his community in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County, Alabama in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University.
