Rep. Barry Moore, who represents Alabama’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his social media accounts praising President Trump’s economic policies and recent legislative developments.

On July 18, 2025, Moore wrote, “Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, the days of woke, weaponized and wasteful spending are no more. The recessions package is headed to his desk and we are cutting billions to restore fiscal sanity. This is the accountability American taxpayers deserve!”

Later that same day, Moore continued his support for Trump’s economic agenda by stating, “The numbers don’t lie – President Trump’s economic policies are building the greatest economy in the world once again! https://t.co/wVEhX1WAzQ”

On July 19, 2025, he highlighted a new legislative measure: “President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill delivers the largest tax cut in history while cutting nearly $2 trillion in waste, fraud and abuse. Republicans are delivering historic levels of mandatory savings! “

Moore has served as the representative for Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021 after succeeding Martha Roy. Prior to his congressional role, he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in 1992.
