Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, posted a series of tweets between January 21 and January 23, 2026, addressing topics ranging from state-level fraud allegations to federal investigations and legislative achievements.

On January 21, Moore commented on the handling of alleged fraud in Minnesota, writing, “If @GovTimWalz actually paid attention to what is happening in his state, he could’ve prevented the massive fraud we are seeing. There is either a double standard for enforcement or, like @Jim_Jordan said, its politics.”

The following day, Moore criticized the appointment and actions of Special Counsel Jack Smith regarding the investigation into former President Donald Trump. On January 22 he posted: “Jack Smith was illegally appointed as Special Counsel by Joe Biden to investigate @POTUS. His illegal prosecution of President Trump was clear election interference and a blatant attempt to subvert the will of the American people. It’s time to hold Jack Smith accountable.”

On January 23, Moore highlighted a legislative milestone in Congress: “For the first time in 30 years, the House passed all 12 appropriations bills to fund the government and return to regular order. Proud to bring fiscal responsibility back to Washington!”

Barry Moore has represented Alabama’s 2nd District since 2021 after serving in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County, Alabama in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
