Moore, who succeeded Martha Roy in 2021 and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018, continues to engage with constituents on pressing matters.
On July 7, 2025, Rep. Moore expressed his support for border patrol agents and law enforcement personnel. He stated that “We should applaud our border patrol agents and law enforcement, not attack them.” He urged Democrats to alter their rhetoric concerning these agencies.
The following day, July 8, 2025, Moore highlighted legislative achievements under President Trump’s administration. He noted that “President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill delivers over $10 billion in tax cuts for our farmers”. The legislation aims to provide significant financial relief and protection for family farms.
On July 9, 2025, Rep. Moore shared a personal message regarding the recent floods in Texas. He mentioned that he and his wife are offering prayers for those affected by the disaster including individuals named Eddie, Ileana, Camille, and Mila Rose from Mobile as search efforts continue. He tweeted: “Heather and I are continuing to pray for those affected by the floods in Texas including Eddie…”
Barry Moore was born in Coffee County, Alabama in 1966 and resides in Enterprise. A graduate of Auburn University with a BS degree obtained in 1992.
