Rep. Barry Moore, who represents Alabama’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing Senate procedure and cryptocurrency regulation.

On December 11, 2025, Moore wrote, “Daily reminder that Republicans need to NUKE the filibuster and help @POTUS save America!” Later that day, he addressed cryptocurrency regulation: ‘”The marketplace is DESPERATE to have their product regulated.” Crypto is a key industry that needs guidelines to operate. @HouseGOP passed the CLARITY Act to accomplish this goal.’ On December 12, 2025, Moore reiterated his earlier message with another post: “Daily reminder that Republicans need to NUKE the filibuster and help @POTUS save America!”

Moore has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Martha Roy as representative for Alabama’s 2nd district. He previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966, Moore resides in Enterprise and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University.
