Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, recently shared several posts on his social media account addressing political, religious, and personal topics.

On February 1, 2026, Moore posted about an incident involving Don Lemon and others: “Don Lemon and a group of leftist agitators are mad that they’re being held accountable for attacking a church. Thank you, @AGPamBondi, for ensuring Christians have a safe place to worship without disruption from the Left!”

Later that day, Moore quoted scripture in another post dated February 1, 2026: “‘The LORD is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.’ – Exodus 15:2”

On February 2, 2026, Moore extended birthday wishes to a colleague: “Happy birthday to my good friend, @SenKatieBritt! Thankful to fight for Alabama families alongside you in Washington!”

Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
