Rep. Barry Moore, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district, has recently posted several statements on his official X (formerly Twitter) account addressing national policy issues and legislative actions.

On November 17, 2025, Moore stated, “The America First agenda starts with securing our borders and ensuring the American people are put first. President Trump continues to prove that his policies work!”

The following day, on November 18, 2025, he shared a brief announcement regarding congressional action: “Statement from Rep. Barry Moore on his vote to release the Epstein Files: https://t.co/syPJiCvhlI”

On November 19, 2025, Moore announced new bipartisan legislation: “Today, I introduced the Federal Carjacking Enforcement Act with @RepCuellar and @RepDavidKustoff. This bill strengthens federal law removing an outdated and burdensome intent requirement that has made it difficult to prosecute carjackings at the federal level.”

Moore has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Martha Roy as representative of Alabama’s 2nd district. Before his time in Congress, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University earned in 1992.
