Rep. Barry Moore, who represents Alabama’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his official social media account addressing national policy, space exploration, and religious faith.

On April 9, 2026, Moore posted a message regarding immigration policy: “No amnesty. Not now, not ever. Thank you, @POTUS!”.

Two days later, on April 11, he commented on the return of a major space mission: “Welcome home Artemis II! This was a historic mission with deep ties to Alabama and our nation is incredibly proud of the astronauts who undertook this mission!”.

On April 12, Moore shared a Bible verse from Luke 9:23-24: “Jesus said to them all: ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.’ – Luke 9:23-24″.

Barry Moore has served as the U.S. Representative for Alabama’s 2nd District since 2021 after succeeding Martha Roy. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
