On Friday, Feb. 21, former Fort Dale Academy standout Rachel Whiddon’s current college team, the Montevallo Falcons, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mississippi Choctaws.
The game took place at Orr Park. This was their second matchup against the Choctaws this season.
The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Orr Park against Mississippi Choctaws.
