On Thursday, May 1, former Opp High School standout GraceAnne Spears’ current college team, the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Georgia Bobcats.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Hurricanes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 3:55 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against Flagler Saints.
