Rep. Barry Moore, U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, posted a series of messages on his social media account on December 7 and 8, 2025. The posts reflect on national remembrance, religious faith, and legislative strategy.

On December 7, Moore commemorated the anniversary of Pearl Harbor with a tribute to military service members: “Today we remember the heroes of Pearl Harbor. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

May God bless the families of the fallen, our veterans, and all who continue to defend this great nation. https://t.co/9TrmrciTa5

Later that day, Moore cited scripture in another post: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” – Hebrews 10:23

The following day, December 8, Moore addressed Senate procedure in relation to party priorities: “Daily reminder that Republicans need to NUKE the filibuster and help @POTUS save America!”

Moore has represented Alabama’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021. Before his congressional tenure, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and residing in Enterprise, Moore graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992.
