Rep. Barry Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, has been active on social media sharing his views and reflections. Born in Coffee County, Alabama, Moore graduated from Auburn University in 1992 and has been a public servant since his time in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018.

On March 9, 2025, Rep. Barry Moore expressed support for efforts to address inefficiencies within the federal government by stating that “DOGE continues to root out waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government!”

Later that day, he shared a biblical passage from John 16:33 on Twitter: “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

On March 10, 2025, Rep. Moore reflected on recent political developments with President Trump’s return to office. He remarked on social media about this period by stating “It’s been a historic first 50 days with President Trump back in the White House.” He also noted that “Republicans in Congress are as committed as ever to continuing to deliver wins on behalf of the American people!”
