Rep. Barry Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, has recently shared his views and experiences on social media. His tweets cover a range of topics from political criticism to expressions of gratitude towards law enforcement and military personnel.
On May 15, 2025, Rep. Moore commented on former FBI Director James Comey’s statements about President Trump. He remarked, “James Comey’s threat against President Trump is only the latest instance of career bureaucrats with Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
The following day, May 16, 2025, Moore expressed appreciation for President Trump’s policies and their impact on public safety in Alabama. He stated that “Thanks to President Trump’s policies and law enforcements hard work, Alabama is now a safer place for everyone to call home!”
On May 17, 2025, Rep. Moore shared his experience at a local Armed Forces Day celebration held at the USS Alabama Memorial Park. He tweeted his gratitude to service members by saying “Today, I had the honor to speak at the Armed Forces Day celebration at the USS Alabama Memorial Park…Thank you to all of the service members, and their families.”
Rep. Barry Moore has been a member of Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021 and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and residing in Enterprise, he graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
