On May 15, 2025, Rep. Moore commented on former FBI Director James Comey’s statements about President Trump. He remarked, “James Comey’s threat against President Trump is only the latest instance of career bureaucrats with Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
The following day, May 16, 2025, Moore expressed appreciation for President Trump’s policies and their impact on public safety in Alabama. He stated that “Thanks to President Trump’s policies and law enforcements hard work, Alabama is now a safer place for everyone to call home!”
On May 17, 2025, Rep. Moore shared his experience at a local Armed Forces Day celebration held at the USS Alabama Memorial Park. Rep. Barry Moore has been a member of Congress since replacing Martha Roy in 2021 and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and residing in Enterprise, he graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
