Rep. Barry Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Alabama’s 2nd district, has been vocal on social media regarding various policies and actions of the Biden administration. On May 6, 2025, Rep. Barry Moore criticized the Bureau of Prisons under President Biden for using taxpayer dollars to fund gender transitions for inmates and housing them based on their “preferred gender.” He noted that this policy was so radical that even California Governor Gavin Newsome agreed with former President Trump’s executive order to end it. “Under Biden, the Bureau of Prisons used taxpayer dollars to fund gender transitions for inmates and housed inmates based on their ‘preferred gender.’ This was such a radical policy, even Gavin Newsome agrees with President Trump’s executive order to end this practice!”
The following day, May 7, Moore questioned why Medicaid is covering 90% of costs for able-bodied adults. He attributed these changes to Obamacare and called for Republican-led reforms. “Why is Medicaid picking up 90% of the tab for able-bodied adults? Obamacare ruined Medicaid. It is time for Republicans to reform it.”
On May 8, Moore praised former President Trump for securing another historic deal beneficial to American interests. He commended Trump’s ability to deliver agreements that serve the nation well. “Another day, another historic deal. President Trump keeps delivering deals that help the American people and are in the best interest of the United States!”
