U.S. Representative Barry Moore, who serves Alabama’s 2nd district, has recently used his social media platform to comment on ongoing political issues and developments, including the impact of political gridlock and foreign policy milestones.
On October 8, 2025, Moore criticized Democratic lawmakers, posting, “Eight days in and Democrats continue to put politics ahead of the American people.”
Later that day, Moore praised former President Donald Trump for diplomatic efforts, writing, “This is a historic step toward lasting peace thanks to the tireless work of President Trump! ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.’ – Matthew 5:9”
On October 9, Moore highlighted the challenges faced by military families amid government funding disputes. He stated, “Every day is getting harder for our military families without a paycheck. The American people deserve better.”
Moore has represented Alabama’s 2nd district in Congress since 2021, succeeding Martha Roy. Before joining Congress, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Born in Coffee County in 1966 and currently residing in Enterprise, Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in 1992.
