Rep. Barry Moore, a U.S. Congressman representing Alabama’s 2nd district since 2021, has recently shared his views on various national issues through social media posts. Moore, who succeeded Martha Roy in Congress and previously served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018, has been vocal about his stance on border security, the Second Amendment, and former President Donald Trump’s policies.

On March 3, 2025, Rep. Barry Moore criticized the Biden administration’s approach to border security by stating that “The Biden administration let illegals walk through an open border saying there was nothing they could do to stop it.” He further praised former President Trump’s administration for maintaining law and order at the border.

In another post dated March 4, 2025, Moore emphasized the importance of the Second Amendment amid calls for gun control and police defunding. He stated that “The Second Amendment gives every citizen of the United States the right to protect themselves.” Moore argued that this constitutional right helps level the playing field for all Americans.

On March 5, 2025, Moore expressed anticipation for a speech by former President Trump regarding his vision for America. He mentioned that “President Trump will lay out how his administration is ushering in the Renewal of the American Dream.” He showed support for Trump’s “America First” agenda.
